General thoughts
Regarding the highly anticipated Call of Cthulhu experience:
Since we're likely to only have 3 players, I plan to allow slightly more starting points for you to allocate, meaning that your characters will be exceptional examples in their given field.
Some other recommendations to offset the low number of player characters:
- All characters should have one (or more) combat skills. (eg Hand to hand, guns, demolitions etc). Suggestions for working this into a character bio:
- At least one character should be wealthy.
- At least one character should be well educated and know how to do library research (university academic, reporter, lawyer etc)
- Unless you have a really good character idea and a specific reason for doing so, all characters should be male. In the 1920's women just weren't allowed to do certain things, and this limitation could negatively impact player enjoyment of the game - (eg Hard work for two characters to fight their way through an area because the female character was not allowed to enter)
I have attached the 6th Edition Character Sheet to this post. Feel free to download and print.
If you don't have a copy of the character generation rules handy, go to http://www.mediafire.com/?vjjjtznc6hy (YOU MAY NEED TO CLICK THE SKIP AD BUTTON AT THE TOP RIGHT CORNER OF THE PAGE)

- Follow the character generation rules as normal except you may allocate an additional 3 points to basic stats (excluding POWER) and no more than 1 point per stat.
- Instead of assigning EDUx20 for skills, you may assign EDUx30
